Where I’ve Been Since January (and Where I Am Now)

From Pause to Pivot: Why I Went Quiet, and What I’ve Been Building Since
So… where did I go?
If you’ve been following LJTalks, you might’ve noticed things went quiet after January 11th.
It wasn’t burnout.
It wasn’t a breakdown.
It was something else entirely:
It was a beginning.
At the end of January this year, I signed up for a business course to sharpen my tech and freelance skills. I wasn’t expecting much - just a bit of clarity, maybe some structure.
What I found instead?
People. Momentum. Purpose. A business partner.
And within a few intense days, a brand-new digital company was born: Rebellion Websites.
Since then:
-
We’ve launched full client sites.
-
Built internal tools to streamline work.
-
Created AI that occasionally thinks it’s a stand-up comedian.
-
Built real relationships with real clients
-
And spent most days balancing tech, trust, and just enough chaos to keep it interesting.
So where am I now?
I still love LJTalks. I still am LJTalks.
This space helped me process some of the hardest, weirdest, most clarifying seasons of my life. I still have so much more I want to say.
But right now - my energy is 100% in Rebellion Websites
That’s where I build, experiment, and work alongside someone who sees the world like I do:
through systems, stories, and the strange, but very real energy of real connection.
TL;DR:
I didn’t disappear. I evolved.
And if you’re still reading this?
You’re part of it too.
Come see where I’ve been playing:
