So there I was, calmly building my website, thinking I had all the time in the world to finish before anyone noticed. Just me, my code, and the peaceful hum of my fan.

Then BAM! Out of nowhere, people start finding my site. Actual people. Clicking on things. Signing up for stuff. Even sending me spammy casino ads through my contact form! 😳

I mean, what?! Who are you? How did you find me? I wasn’t ready for this! Spoiler alert: This is a developer’s worst nightmare, when your site’s still in its “please don’t look at me” phase.

No big deal, right? I’ve built this email signup system, everything is under control... sort of. But now, there are actual users in my database, and I’m suddenly faced with real-world questions like, “Why is the welcome email not exactly... welcoming?”

“Where Did the Spammers Come From?!”

And let's not forget the lovely person who sent me an email asking me to “Join Some Casino.” Thanks for that. Really added to the zen-like experience of trying to figure out how people even found my website! Spammers move fast, folks. I think they may have even found me before I found myself.

"The Site is... Mostly Functional!"

To all the friendly (and not-so-friendly) visitors who are suddenly here: Surprise! The site’s not quite ready yet. But hey, I’m working on it. The email signup form should be working, though if you get a weird error message, consider it my quirky way of saying, “We’re still ironing things out.”

The Plan?

Well, now that I know you're all here (whether I’m ready or not), I’ll be doing my best to get everything polished up ASAP. But let’s be honest, if you’re here already, you’re witnessing the behind-the-scenes madness. It’s like watching a baker decorate a cake that’s half-baked and still in the oven. 🍰 (But hey, it’ll be delicious... eventually!)

In the meantime, feel free to poke around, but if anything breaks... Just know: I’m on it!

And to top it all off? I just had to unclog the bath drain mid-testing frenzy! Because why wouldn’t there be a plumbing emergency in the middle of all this? 😂 I mean, could this get any more chaotic? (Don’t answer that...)

But that’s life as a developer, right? One minute you’re knee-deep in code, and the next you’re elbows-deep in plumbing. This is the glamorous tech life I signed up for. 😅
